That's a way forgettable still from Zombieland. It took me a second to realize that was. But I approve your list anyway. I know you do these things for my approval!
Man, I think Justin and myself must be the only people who didn't fall all over themselves for The Hangover.
Whitney - It wasn't forgettable to me. :) I bet it wasn't to Brad either.
Lunatone - Someone else I just talked to didn't like The Hangover either. Now I can't remember who...
But that movie was soooo funny. So quotable. "We're the three best friends---that anyone could have!" is my new favorite song. It's okay if you don't like it though. We both know you have awesome taste regardless.
Great 'lil cross-section here. I'm especially happy to see the love for (500) DAYS.
Hatter - That's the one I thought I'd catch the most flack for. Glad to see that might not be the case.
You didn't talk to me, but I didn't laugh more than once during The Hangover.
Anyway...Mary and MAx! I hope to finally see it on April 8th here, but chances are I'll miss it and have to wait for DVD. Actually is it already on DVD?
Daniel - Sorry to hear that The Hangover didn't do it for you. Every time I think of the "I keep forgetting about the goddamn tiger" line, I laugh out loud.
And where will Mary and Max be playing on April 8th? It's definitely NOT on DVD and I don't know when it will be. My thoughts, if you have a chance to see this, see it. You won't be disappointed and I have no idea when you'll get another chance.
Randomly (I think), it's the opening night film of a Jewish Film Festival here. Since I haven't seen it and I'm not Jewish and don't know the significance, but I hope to make it anyway.
it might have been me. i thought the hangover was terrible. but bruno, ponyo and harry potter where on my ten best. so maybe i can't be trusted
nice list. don't apologize for being late...i hate to publish a list like this b/c i feel like there's films i haven't seen that could make the cut if i get my hands on them.
i have my top 10 - but definitly haven't published it yet.
Nice list.
I did recognize the still instantly, I hated the Hangover, I didn't laugh once.
I'd give you the most flack for Paranormal Activity. Please tell me you didn't see Basterds even if you did...it'll make me feel better.
I definitely think that Zombieland, (500) Days and Hangover deserve to be on that list even if they aren't my personal favorite. I still think Hurt Locker was the best.
