Apparently, I Have a Type

Today, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir introduced me to Gene Tierney.  I'm happy to announce that we're in love.  After running down a quick list of other Hollywood ladies who're fighting over my heart, I realized that I have a type.

[Note: If you think this post was just an excuse to put up some pretty lady pics...you're welcome.]

That's a good type...

Tierney is stunning isn't she? You have to see "Laura" - not only a terrific noir, but she's drop dead gorgeous in in. Then catch her in "Leave Her To Heaven" where she is equally gorgeous (and in colour), but perhaps a bit too, um, clingy...

I melt a bit more everytime I see Deschanel's eyes.

isn't laura that movie where laura is missing and this detective falls in love with this portrait of her? that movie was great. as great as leave her to heaven.

I was about to pop in and express my disbelief that you haven't seen Laura. I was beaten to the punch, but I will add my voice to the chorus. Watch it!!

Also, we still have the same type.

I haven't seen Deschanel in too many movies, but I did watch SciFi's "Tin Man" a while ago (I was sick and couch bound)and based on her role in that, she has no acting ability whatsoever. She had the same expression the entire movie. Granted, SciFi movie, I know, but it had a big enough special effects budget to warrant paying an actress to stop looking like a deer caught in the headlights.

I think Zooey is a great actress and to me, in my opinion, (500) Days of Summer proved that.

Good choices overall
