Were These Shows on Television?

I guess they're not anymore. NBC just canceled them.
If you've never seen them, they're new to you.

I never even watched one episode of My Own Worst Enemy, and I'm a Slater fan.
I even saw HOLLOW MAN 2 !
But even the ad spots looked crap, and I've been around long enough to know a cancelled show if I've ever seen one !

Apparently NBC didn't get the memo that Christian Slater hasn't been relevant in years.

And Lipstick Jungle was just another of the many Sex and the City ripoffs (I know it's the same writer, but people don't care).

I don't know why this just popped into my head (probably because I'm thinking about canceled TV shows) but have you seen the first Family Guy episode once they came back from cancellation where Peter names off every single Fox show that failed since Family Guy was off the air? Awesome stuff.

Fotog - Hollow Man 2? Woah... I LOVE Elizabeth Shue and I wouldn't even watch Hollow Man 1. You're dedicated.

Jonny - I don't know why they didn't get it, I sent it to them repeatedly ever since Hard Rain came out.

The only person who seems to have any luck reworking his own material is Bryan Fuller (Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me, Pushing Daisies). Doesn't mean his shows will stay on the air for more than two seasons though, no matter how many times I watch them.

Wonderfalls was on that huge Family Guy list. I love that scene. I laughed myself into hysterics (okay, not that hard) when they mentioned Action, that show with Jay Mohr Illeana Douglas. Good stuff. Gooood stuff.

I'd heard of both but (shock!) never watched either. They'll be terribly missed (just not by me).
